Erika M. Anderson a.k.a. noise-folk singer-songwriter EMA returns after three years with a new album “Exile in the Outer Ring” with a subsequent UK & European tour, stopping at MeetFactory on Friday, October 13, 2017 for her first-ever Prague show.

EMA broke through with her well-received debut “Past Life Martyred Saints” full of bold songs wrapped into howling guitar feedbacks, followed by the second studio record “The Future’s Void” (2014). After exhibiting in MoMA PS1, Ema retreated to a basement of a generic apartment complex in Portland Oregon, where in a non-descript room she came up with a portrait of present day America – the world of working-class alienation, Mexican grocery stores, American flags hung over basement windows and empty shopping malls.
