PINCH POINTS (AU) + Katastr (CZ)| Backyard concert

The thriving Australian independent music scene got spiced up in the last couple of years by the new post-punk outfit PINCH POINTS from Naarm / Melbourne. Their refined sound mixes the best elements of early classics like Wire, The Fall, and Kleenex.

PINCH POINTS play clean, angular guitar harmonies and mechanical riffs, belting out group-vocals, all at a turbo-punk speed. J. Edward Keyes of Bandcamp described their sound as ‘a barbed-wire coil of sound that’s as loose and springy as it is dangerously serrated’. Their latest studio album PROCESS is the band’s most collaborative work yet, expanding their sonic palette with crunchier guitar tones, faster tempos and some jangle-influences.

PINCH POINTS have played with acts such as Surfbort, Viagra Boys and Kikagaku Moyo, and are coming to MeetFactory in August for their premiere Prague headline show.
