The Christmas party directed by the MeetFactory art scene will take place on Friday 29 November. The focal point of the programme will be the presentation of the Gastrofaza project, which was created as part of the Food Studio residency programme. In addition, the studios of MeetFactory's residents will be open, guided by the curators, and there will be guided tours of the exhibitions. There will also be a sauna - towels to go - and donut karaoke.

Admission to the entire event is free. 

Gastrofaza Reunion 

The political dimension of food and its history, the social nuances hidden in recipes or the social potential of food as a platform for encounters, intergenerational and intercultural exchanges. More and more visual artists are interested in this phenomenon, which we can call the "culinary turn."

The Gastrofaza project is something between a culinary show, a symposium and a green school. This summer, the graduates of the Food Studio, operating since 2020, gathered in Krkonoše to compete in the Artistic Chefs Competition. Their efforts, dramatic moments, sympathies and recipes will be shown in a reality show, the first three episodes of which will be previewed at MeetFactory. In addition to meeting the participants, the Gastrofaza Reunion will offer karaoke with a donut in your mouth and an evening sauna in the unique Carolina Sauna.

Open Studios & Guided Tour 
During the evening, the studios of MeetFactory residents will be open, and their work will be presented by curators Kateřina Pencová and Tereza Havelková and curator Piotr Sikora during a guided tour. The Karolina sauna will be available on the first floor.

Exhibitions Guided Tour 
A unique opportunity to see the current exhibitions for free and learn more about them during guided tours. The exhibition Make Voices Be Heard: Chapter Four will be presented by Viktoria Vítů from Fotograf Festival, the Kostka Gallery and the installation Une solitude vraiment terrible by the artist duo Angélique Aubrit & Ludovic Beillard will be guided by curators Kateřina Pencová and Veronika Soukupová.
