Miradonna Sirkka

Miradonna Sirkka (b 1991, Vihti Finland)  is a performance and contemporary circus artist, director and performer. The artworks are multidisciplinary mashups and worlds to dive into; performances, installations, videos, sounds and media artworks. Inspiration rises from human contact, daily-life awkwardness and radical honesty. Miradonna loves to mix up the setup between performers and the audience. She holds a BA in circus arts (Turku Arts Academy) and an MA in Visual Culture and Curating Contemporary art (Aalto University). Miradonna is the founder of the Finnish multidisciplinary art company Recover Laboratory.

Recover Laboratory is a multi-art collective whose surrealist works and experiences are based on contact between people, honesty, and freedom provided by art. In our works, moments stretch and stop as glitches, where anything can happen – just like on an ordinary weekday. Recover Laboratory creates underground labyrinths, experiential routes designed for urban spaces, multi-art works implemented on traditional stages, installations, digital encounters, and curated content for events.
